Choosing swing, sliding or pedestrian access
Swing gates work best where the leaves have clear space to open without interrupting parking or the road. Sliding gates can suit wider entrances or sites where inward clearance is limited, but they need a straight run beside the opening and a properly prepared track or support arrangement.
Tell us how the entrance is used, whether a separate pedestrian leaf is needed and if motorisation is being considered. Those decisions affect the frame, hinges, track, locking points and electrical preparation before fabrication begins.
